News and whatnot.

I'm still working on setting this blog up, so for now the only thing here is the creation myth for Regnum. Eventually I will have stories and art from other realms, and I hope to treat each blog post as a new chapter of each of the stories, or maybe more like episodes of a T.V. show, or issues of a comic. That is the idea anyway!

The Tale of Regnum, a Prime Realm.

There is only one Universe, but it is made of many cosmic realms. These realms are sometimes referred to as parallel universes or alternate dimensions, but they are essentially the same thing, and all of them combined together make up the one Universe.

The Universe is made of energy, and energy is simply the ability to make a change. This energy follows the law of cycles, which states that there is no true beginning or end to anything, energy simply goes on and on until it loops back around on itself. With no beginning or end there is also no creation or destruction, however there certainly is a lot of change.

The realms of the Universe come in two different varieties: prime realms and guided realms. A prime realm follows only the law of cycles, and everything in that realm evolves through natural processes and changes that result from it. On the other hand, guided realms are ruled over by a consciousness, often known as a god or deity, who channels the law of cycles through their will to create the guided realm, and can then make changes to the law based on their desires and abilities to do so.
